Terms of use

Last updated 29 September 2026

This website is provided by DACCAA Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 14639674), 11 Othello Close, Stafford, ST17 9ZN, England. By using the site you accept these terms. How we handle personal data is covered separately, in our privacy policy.

What this site is

studios.daccaa.com exists to document and support the apps we publish. The apps themselves are licensed separately, through the App Store, under Apple's standard end user licence agreement and any additional terms shown in the app.

Using the guides and the blog

You may read, print and share the guides and blog posts here freely, including inside your own organisation. You may not republish them as your own, or present them as documentation for a different product. Our names, logos and app icons remain ours.

Accuracy

We write the documentation carefully and correct it when it is wrong. Some of it is drafted with the help of an AI tool, and everything is read and checked by us before it is published. Even so, it describes software that changes, and we cannot promise every page matches the version on your phone at every moment. Where we know a page may be out of date after a new release, we check it. If you spot a discrepancy, tell us: that is genuinely useful.

Prices, version numbers, release notes and the other App Store details shown here come from Apple and are refreshed once a day, so they can briefly lag behind the App Store itself. The App Store is always the final word.

Getting help

DACCAA Studios is two people, and we read and answer every message ourselves. We aim to reply within seven days, but we cannot guarantee a reply, or that we can solve every problem. You never need an account to ask for help.

Your account

Signing in is optional. If you do, you sign in with Gate.haus, DACCAA's own sign-in system, and your account brings your support conversations together in one place. Keep your sign-in details to yourself. We may end access for anyone who uses the site to cause harm.

What you send us

Messages, in-app feedback and notes on our guides reach the two of us. Please do not send anything unlawful, abusive or misleading, or other people's personal information. You keep any rights in what you write. If you suggest an idea or an improvement, we are free to use it to improve our guides and apps without owing you anything for it, though we are always glad to hear it.

Private links

Some links we send are private: the link in our emails that opens your support conversation, and a preview link to a guide that is not yet published. Anyone who has one of these links can use it, so please do not share them. They stop working after a set time.

The feedback API

The endpoint at /api/v1/feedback is provided for our own apps, under keys we issue. Keys may be rate limited or withdrawn if they are used to send spam, to send other people's personal data, or in a way that threatens the service. Do not use the endpoint to transmit anything you would not want stored.

Other sites

We link to other websites, including the App Store and each app's own site. Videos in our guides are played from YouTube or our video host, under their own terms. We are not responsible for the content of sites we do not run.

Availability

We keep the site up, but we do not guarantee it will never be unavailable. Maintenance, hosting failures and other things outside our control happen.

Liability

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site changes. When we do, the date at the top changes with it, and the terms in force are the ones on this page when you use the site.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
